So much so, I likened them to time being a record and sometimes the needle slips and plays a previous groove so you see what happened years ago - replayed. The concept intrigues me to this day. I wish I knew what set them off! Like you I think this sensitivity runs in families - my son picks up on emotions with living people and the dead and don't get me started on what happens when I am under the same roof as my sisters! Like you...once and only once our haunting which was always a replay of previous events like a time slip - stopped and looked at a person in the present and recognised them and interacted with them. That was the exception to the rule at that location. I think weather patterns are also relevant to triggering a " re-play " of paranormal events - wet weather increases the ions in the atmosphere. I love storms! I actually find them envigorating and a sensitive friend recently suggested that is because I am sensitive to the same energy being generated by the rain storm - just as spirits/ paranormal events can feed off it as well. Which is why I'm sensitive! ( makes an creepy kind of sense ) Once the rain storm passed - the ion level would have dropped accordingly and possibly stopped feeding the energy of the moment and could be why the experience ceased with the rain. It doesn't sound like anything to be frightened of.
