More than a story the following is a question that I am hoping someone will help me understand.
I remember having dreams as a child where I was a priest or someone with the power to cast away evil spirits. I would have these dreams maybe 3 or 4 times a years. My dreams followed the same pattern where someone would be possessed and I would cast away the evil spirit with prayer. I remember not being scared; on the contrary, I would feel courageous enough to cast them away. I still have the dreams; however, I am not a priest, it’s simply me confronting people who are possessed and me saying a prayer to cast it away and a prayer to protect myself.
Can someone please explain what these dreams may mean? Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my entry.

These might be regression dreams (memories of past lives)? Or these dreams might signify that you have more Faith in yourself than you realise.
Are you feeling anxious about a situation at the moment? This could be anything from bullying to emotion turmoil or money worries?
Sometimes we dream of overcoming evil when ‘evi’l is affecting our everyday lives. This might be evil of a supernatural in nature, or it might not. Without knowing more about you and your life its hard to pinpoint what is making you dream these dreams.
That said, I regularly have nighmares of ‘casting out demons’. The difference with me, is I know the origin. Many years ago I had to have an Exorcism performed in my house. It was extremely frightening at the time and since then, I’ve noticed that whenever I feel unsettled [for whatever reason - doesn't have to be supernatural] I tend to dream of banishing spirits from my home. I believe this is my minds way of finding the courage [or faith in myself] to overcome whatever it is that is making me unsettled.

Faith in yourself will get you nothing but possessed. That is what evil wants you to think but no human has the power to overcome demonic spirits without Jesus. I cannot speak of past lives because I do not have any past lives nor do I believe amyones else has. It really sounds like to me that you have a calling from God. You do not have to be a priest to cast out evil spirits but you must have the Holy Spirit in you which comes from believing in Christ Jesus. Jesus gives all of His followers the power over unclean spirits but you must prepare through prayer and reading your Bible. Check out a deliverance ministry in your area.

ive also been exeperiencing the same ever since i was 8. As i grew older i would feel heat on the palms of my hands when praying for ppl.
This means God has given you a gift for healing and casting out demons. You shuld be careful of how you go about with this.Pray hard for guidence for God is waiting for you to do his work, his ppl are waiting for salvation thru you.
Dnt ever make the mistake of having faith in ur self coz then u’ll be making way for the devil.Therez is no former life,ppl who give testimonies/have expirienced the former life memories are possesed.
