My name is Nicolette aka Nikki. I never believed in ghosts until my family and I moved into this suburban home in greater Cleveland about nine years ago. I had many experiences in this house from the age of ten until we moved out which was when I had turned fifteen. Here goes!
After we moved in everything was fine. We were excited and anxious to live in the suburbs for the first time and it was a cute little brick house. Then about three months after we moved in me my mom, cousins, and my big sister were sitting in the basement just watching TV and talking. Then one of my cousins happened to hear something coming from the top of the steps, she looked and saw feet walking across the living. She then told us to look and we all saw the very same thing. Which was crazy because my dad wasn’t there and we were the only ones in the house. So initially I was scared but we all chose to forget about it.
From then that’s when even more strange things started happening but for some reason only me and my little brother would experience them. Like when I was eleven I was in my moms bedroom with her and my brother it was about eleven in the morning on a Sunday and we were the only ones there getting ready to leave. My mom told me to get her purse from the kitchen and bring it to her. So I grab my moms purse from the kitchen and then as I come back out of the kitchen I have to pass the basement steps where there is no door so I can see clear down the steps. As I walk back past the basement steps I happened to look down the steps (it is broad daylight outside) and I see this short black figure run across the basement floor right in front of the steps. It’s skin was pitch black, he had big black worm like braids that stuck out all over his head, blue jeans, and a red and yellow jacket on. But as he was running he turned his head and looked at me straight in the face. When he looked at me it was as if was running in slow motion, his eyes were completely red and his teeth were white and sharp. Then as he looked away he kept running until I couldn’t see him anymore.
I told my aunt about it and she told me it was a demon and that’s exactly what I thought it was when I saw it. There are many more paranormal and demonic experiences I went through in that house but I’m going to have to save that for another story entry. But I will say that even though I don’t live in that house anymore I am still afraid of the dark and the basement till this very day and I sometimes experience a dark shadow in the corner of my eye from time to time. I know that ghosts and demons really do exist. You just have to see it to believe. And if anybody had a similar experience with the dark thing I saw in my basement then please comment and let me know if you have any knowledge on what it was. Thanks for reading!

Dude dont go near the basement k. Demons may look cool but there not cool once they try to murder you. Although i do suggest talking to it about ya know why its there in the first place. It could be that hes scaring the wrong person or that hes lost (my demonic entity got lost cuz he attached himself to a dog and was dropd of here and sence he saw a girl who looked similer to his victim(me) which was in another house he tried ta kill me so i sead IVE HAD ENOUPH got a cross and cornered him he was terified(his girl victim never tried a strtegy like that on him) i talked for a while lowered the cross he got confortable said if he could visit some time i said “sure why not” he laphed and still lives with me but leaves often. Just takes a talk and thats all.

Wow!!! The story nearly froze my brain nerves!!! I don’t like basements too it always gives me the creeps and i am a chicken when i am in dark As i always say NICE ONE waiting for your next story MANIK. Life has never been the same for me too ! ! !

The best part of this experience is that you or your family weren’t harmed. I don’t think you were imagining anything. Many people have seen similar things. I have seen and experienced many different things, and when I think about it at night before going to sleep and wonder the why in everything I wonder if they’re not all connected in some way. Another reason I know that there is a reality to this stuff is that some of the experiences people have, make direct communication with the one seeing it, or them. Off the top of my head , one interesting mystery is dopplegangers. I have seen and spoken to one and it had self awareness and knew what was going on in real time and certain things about us, the ones who saw it. I don’t know what it would refer to itself as or if in its natural state it is a solid material substance or pure energy, nor do I know it’s reasoning for impersonating my friend for such a bried amount of time for apparently no reason. (at least there wasn’t one to us) I’m glad there are mysteries out there, I say out there, but really they’re here, everywhere with us, around us, living amongst us, or merely osbserving. Who knows really. I like it because even though there is such beauty in the world to be seen, and love to be felt by others, (not all sadly), and to be given, it still raises questions that will go unanswered while I still live in this physical flesh and blood body and don’t really expect to be answered. It’s kind of like a well loved novel that goes on and on and the last chapter I won’t be privy to until I pass on.

However I am Nicolette Aka Nikki and to Darstarr the house was in Garfield hts. But I do not live there anymore. I moved from there in 2005. Another family lives there now. I wish I looked into the history of the house, but all I wanted was to move from there and never go back. I’m glad we left.

You should wear a cross from now on. If you see a demon they can hert you or touch you their dead. But they can if you let them by thinking about them, being afried of the dark, or if you fool your self into seeing them, when their not there. If you think about a demon you will problably end up attrackting some. If you see anymore iqnore them i went through the same thing when i was 2 and i almost died. So Dont believe in them or they will come and hunt you.

house being to near any of these “dark” places.

creepy story 1 fing you have to remebr a demon is jus a negative energy there only as strong as you let them be the greatest defence you ca use against them is love and light keep a strong loving family the energie will hate this and will not even come close to touching you or harming you they will try there hardest to scare you and break you down ino its hard 2 deal with and eazier said then done but dont show no signs of fear keep lights switched on your home they hate light they hide in the dark say lots of prayers and even cleanse your house with sage 1nce a week and ask this neegative energy to remove its self from your home and go back to we ever it may come from ask this in the name of our heavinly father and his son jesus christ the sage will break the energy down then eventualy will have no power atal how ever if the demon is already strong and you have let the demon in eg invited it threw oujia board or something you need an exorcism the sage will only get the energy more angry and piss it rite off if this is the case the sage will come in handy after the energy has bin removed to keep your house cleansed and protected jus remebr these things have never lived we are most definatly stronger then them dont give up hope if theres a way for them to come in theres alwasy a way to rid them out no matter how bad the situation is
Is this story a joke?
Well, after one point in the story, I started to not believe it. Right in the beginning.
When everyone saw those “feet” walking on the top of the stairs, everyone just ignored it?
I don’t know about you, but if I saw an unknown pair of feet walking in my house, I’d personally go check it out.
I will most definitely tell more of my experiences in that house to those who want to read more. Now to laser lice, no this story is not a joke, it’s your choice rather you believe me or not. And to M00tard like I said to laser lice you can choose to believe me or not. However about the feet at the top of the stairs, it is your choice to go check it out, but me personally I am the type to stay away from whatever it was and I was only a little girl at the time so therefore I was scared becuase no only did I know it was a ghost but so did my family and that’s why we didn’t go see what it was. And to the ones that gave me advice, I thank you. I appreciate evrerybody’ comments.
