In 2008, we took our regular trip to Gettysburg which we do twice each year. On this trip, we decided to ride around the side roads on the perimeter of the battlefields, past some of the older homes and farms. We heard distinctly the sound of cannon fire and tried desperately to pinpoint the location. When I inquired later about where the event was taking place on the battlefield, I was informed there was none that day, although the two of us clearly heard cannons firing several times.

mY Aunt lives in pennsylvania and she too was at this same cemetary, and she said that she heard old music and had caught a glimpse of a woman wearing a gown from that era,and when she asked anyone else if they heard the same thing, they said no! Gettysburg is suppose to be really haunted!
