Channeling Erik

Posted on December 28, 2011

Have you checked out Channeling Erik? I am a physician and mother of five who recently lost my 20-year-old son, Erik. I started the blog to journal my grief, hoping I would heal by helping others. But soon Erik made his continued existence known to family, friends and blog members. As a physician with a strong background in science, this shook my entire paradigm to the core, especially since I was raised by two atheists!

Now, I channel Erik through a world-renowned medium, asking him questions about death, the afterlife, suicide, the nature of reality and more. Lately, we’ve been asking him to bring famous celebrities to interview including Elvis, Carl Sagan, Sai Baba, Michael Jackson, and 350 more.

Erik also has a penchant for visiting blog members to give them advice, comfort, or play little pranks (messing with electronics, sending noxious smells, hiding items in plain sight, etc.) Over the past few months, he’s become a worldwide phenomenon and has been interviewed on many national and international shows, including The Sheila Gale Show. Currently, a screenwriter is writing a pilot for a TV show based on Erik’s life and afterlife — a weekly one-hour drama, fiction based on truth.

Please understand that Erik is no guru or Dalai Lama. In fact, he curses like a sailor and has an irreverent sense of humor, but in a way, that’s part of his allure. Erik is one of us, someone who once struggled in life and, like us; he’s still searching for answers to those bigger questions. I can’t tell you how many grieving or depressed blog members have been saved by Channeling Erik. If you are in pain, I hope you join us on our journey.

I am sorry for your loss. I do not mean to be disrespectful but I am sure there are a great number of reasders that will give you the same word of caution. It is likely that this spirit is a spirit of deception and not actually the spirit of Erik at all. There is no way to prove that it is Erik but there are several ways to prove that it is not. One caution is that the spirit speaks through mediums. Ask the medium how they know for sure that it is your son? If they are honest, they will tell you that there is no way for them to know. Unfortunately there is a great deal of deception in what some might call the open spirit world or for a better definition, the type of spirits that are sitting around waiting for someone to call out into the thin air. Most of these spirits are not benevolent and are very deceptive. It may be a spirit that knew your son very well and observed him all the way through his life and that is how it may know facts about you or your son that seem to be small bits of information that only the 2 of you would have known. Believe me I get know pleasure out of writing this type of post but I do feel obligated to let you know that the spiritual world does not work like most mediums and psychics wished it did. Some of the things to look at would be to have the medium ask the spirit where it resides now. Ask it if it is close to Jesus and can it say the name of Jesus? You may think that these are only questions that a Christian would ask but there is only one spirit world and most Christians are in tune with it or at least should know how the spirit world operates. Be careful about book deals and so forth. Unfortunately there are so many quazi-true spirit stories out there, there are not many that are very original left. I read a story on a similar site and actually heard the recordings of a wife speaking to her deceased husband on the telephone and there was something attempting to communucate with her but it did not turn out to be her husband past but an evil deceptive spirit that ended up adding to the trment and time of recoverory from loosing her husband. The spirits ultimate goal was to get into her home and torment her and drive her to suicide. This is a warning of love not of hate. Be very careful of the credit that is given this spirit because its strength can grow through this much attention and emotion. I want to be positive and maybe your case is unique and it is your son but I would not feel comfortable saying that it could be. Ask it about Heaven and Jesus, God and all those sorts of things. If its anwsers are evasive or negative then that is a sure fire bet that something is not right.

I a agree with J.K. a lot of these spirits are deceptive. I know when I was 19 my brother he was 17 and died after being beaten and was killed in a car accident a month later in 1984. My parents who were actually Catholic in but not practicing Catholic for many years. They had a hitchhiker they picked up on the side of the highway who showed them how to do a seance. I begged them not to do this. I went to sleep in my bedroom. Since I was the most religious in the family and very close to my brother experienced a full demonic haunting. This story has been published already. on True Ghost Tales. under “My brother was killed and then haunted me.” Then I wrote another story called “The teen haunting in woodstock.” it is in the Sun times ghost forum. These stories are not a promotion for me. They are a warning of messing with the paranormal. Jesus is real. It is too bad there are so many people being deceived by the enemy.

I also want you to know that demons ask us to kill ourselves. my daughter saw a demon in the mirror after she cut her wrists. she will now will not try to cut herself. The demons also tried at school to get her to jump out of a window when the kids were bullying her. These demons are real I have seen and heard them. My daughter saw the suicide demon in the bathroom mirror at her school. it was a girl with red eyes saying jump out the window. Kill yourself.

Everything you describe including the noxious smells is text book about a demon causing deception. You are in pain trying to believe you are speaking to your dead son. You are not communicating with your son. It is a demon pretending to be your son. Necromancy is a sin. And you are opening doors to a lot of future pain if you continue in this direction. If you command it in Jesus name to give it’s true name, I promise you, it will not tell you his name is Eric.

  5. kimberly Kennedy says:

I forgot to add this note to you. Think of the odor that comes in when the channeler channels. Although you did not mention the type of smell. I can tell you that the odor is sulfurous. You simply stated a nauxious odor.

Now although you never mentioned the type of odor, I want you to know that the reason I am telling you this, is to confirm what I mentioned earlier to you.

In the Bible, you will see that Hell, is filled with sulfur. Your channeled spirits are nothing more than either demons, or familiar spirits masquerading as certain people to continue entry and dialogue into your life.

Demons are evil, smart, and deceiving. Familiar spirits will know many things about a particular person. The sulfuric smell should clue you in that it is emerging from the depths of Hell.

Many people try to recieve confort and wisdom through channeling. Watch what happens if you say “the blood of Jesus.” twenty times, or ask the spirit to say it. You may be surprised at the violent reaction.

You are not dealing with your lost loved one.

  6. carri says:

The truth is these “ghosts” are not the spirits of men and women, but rather fallen angels masquerading as our loved ones.

If man believes that he becomes a ghost or is reincarnated at death, he will exclude the possibility of heaven as his eternal home and God as his Father.

Some “ghosts” have appeared to humans claiming that they want to “help” them. They posses a knowledge that only that person could know. Which is convincing to the person involved. These angels are fallen angels, demons.

But what that person fails to realize is that angels have existed since God created the world. Angels are “older” than us, and older than our loved ones. They can easily retain knowledge about that persons life that “only they could know”.

Other “ghosts” are clearly out to cause harm. Such is the case in hauntings.

I will be adding examples of both. And examine the scriptural basis. Say Jesus Christ and see what the spirit does. Test the spirit friend. I tell you because the demon may possess yours or your families souls. be careful.

    • Caretaker says:

Heaven as an eternal home? Can you do me a favor and show just one quote from the Bible that tells you that you will go to Heaven eternally? Or even that one will go to heaven at all? I am not asking for a scripture and then an explanation anbout how it means this and that. I am asking for a quote that actually says folks will go to heaven and/or be there eternally……..

    • Clare says:

I just want to point out that not all “fallen angels” are demons or bad angels. Some “fallen angels” include “watcher angels”. These are angels sent down to earth to spread the word of the rules of Heaven and to inform humans.

“The Watchers (Aramaic, ??????? iyrin) is a term found in the Old Testament Book of Daniel, and later sources, which is connected to angels. In Daniel, these are obedient angels, in the Book of Enoch they are referred to as fallen angels.” -Wikipedia

      • Kimberly says:

Hi, the problem is that demons can maquerade as angels of light. And the Bible is clearly the instruction manual.

Why go to an angel for questions, when you can ask Jesus? People that think they are talking to angels on boards and through channeling are not really talking to angels.

Why would an angel that works for the Lord, have to possess a person (channeling) to be able to communicate to others? To be possessed by an entity, that claims to be someone, is still being possessed.

Angels are here to protect us, but we are not supposed to communicate with them asking them questions, when we can go to the Lord. They are not all knowing like the Lord. Also, you risk encountering a demon in disguise.

        • Clare says:

Right, but as I said, not all fallen angels are bad. I wasn’t saying that no fallen angel is bad. I apologize if that is how it sounded. I was just clarifying what Carri was saying by pointing out that in a lot of cases it is the bad hiding behind what we relate to as good, but it’s not always the case.

Some watchers are sent from God to deliver a message. People don’t necessarily call on them.

I believe the paranormal world is too complicated to know who we are “supposed” to talk to and not. So, defining what is right and wrong in these situations is something I don’t tend to agree with.
