Haunted and Magical Toys

I am fascinated with haunted toys. I have a few magical toys, one named Mr. Rat, and another named Jean Addo. I don’t have a haunted toy, but I may have had some for awhile, until I had to leave them behind when I lost my apartment.

I had a dream about Jean Addo before he appeared about ten years after the dream. He’s a clown/harlequin, and I had a dream about a little child dressed like a clown knocking on my door, and I look out to find her standing there. I found him sitting on the counter at a Salvation Army thrift store.

Someone shortly after I bought him told me that every time a doll comes into your life it means a new spirit is with you. This I believe with both Jean Addo and Mr. Rat. Mr. Rat is a stuffed animal rat, white, with eyes like the cartoon Kathy, close together. Just goofy looking, with …

The Creepy Flea Market Doll

My mother has always been a doll collector and the flea market was her hot spot for buying old dolls. I always hated dolls, I guess because of the movie child’s play but anyway they scared the crap out of me. One day she came home with a new doll of coerce I was mad and reminded her she already had a lot of stupid dolls. My mom of coerce ignored my comments and placed the doll in her room with the rest of them. We lived in a small home and the only restroom was located in my mothers room. So that meant every time I had to use the restroom I would have to go through my mothers room and her collection of dolls.

I remember the first night I heard the doll singing, it was around midnight and I really had to go to the restroom. As I entered the room I heard some humming, I looked …

Old Homemade Rag Doll and Nightmares

When I was four years old, one of my great aunts gave me an old homemade rag doll for my birthday. It had been hers when she was a little girl, made especially for her by her grandmother who, of course, was long dead. I loved the doll, for the only one I had was an old baby doll I’d had since the age of one. Why my great aunt had chosen to give me the doll was a puzzle, for she’d never really paid me any attention. In fact, as children often can, I sensed that she disliked me distinctly. Anyway, I felt very special to have been the recipient of such a treasured gift. I slept with the doll every night and, during the day, it had center stage on my bed.

Soon I began having very frightening dreams about the doll and the woman who’d made it which was, as I stated earlier, my great aunts grandmother. …

Emily and the Doll

Hi, I feel the need to share this story with someone. I have told my parents this before but they never believed me. I was 7 when this whole thing started. I was born in a small town in Illinois and my mother took me and my older sister out of state to Arizona when I was seven. My sister was 11, she trusts what I am telling is true because she is Wiccan and is in to all the supernatural stuff.

Ok so when we first moved to Arizona into this small house with my mom and her boyfriend who has two older sons who are both older than me and my sister. I am the baby in the family. My step dada Thomas had made a room in his house just for my sister and I. It was small but we each had our own beds. He filled the room with dolls and babies and stuffed animals. But …

Clown Dolls

Clown dolls aren’t supposed to move themselves…

When I was twelve, my family and I stayed with my grandparents while my father was training on the east coast with the military. Having spent my entire life in the Midwest, living in New Mexico was very strange for me, but I knew it’d be temporary: as soon as Dad got orders, we’d be moving. We had been there several months when my mother’s little brother and his wife popped in to visit. Auntie D loved dolls so Uncle M bought her a little clown doll as a surprise while they were visiting.

We got home from school one day to see this little doll sitting on the sofa; Auntie had placed it there before they went out for the day. He was 6 inches tall, positioned to be sitting with his hands out, holding a “jack-in-the-box” that didn’t open. He had porcelain hands, feet and face, those horrifically realistic blue glass …

A Possessed Doll Called Abaddon

When I was young I had a doll called Abaddon, he was dressed in a blue top and nice navy blue jeans, with white trainers, he was my best friend. Not long after I talked to him, my mom would ask me again and again “who are you talking to?” I would say my doll, later that night my mom was a bit worried, she noticed I had marks on my arms. We were talking and I left Abaddon on my chair next to my bed, while I was talking.

I woke up to see Abaddon moved to the end of my bed, I picked him up and his feet were all dirty as if he could walk? When I was about 13 my mom was saying, “ever since you had that doll your not being your self.” My mom later told me that I had reddish eyes, but I said I can remember every word. But the only thing …

The Laughing Doll

Well first of all I better tell you a little bit about myself. I was given an old doll from my great granddad who owns an antique shop. He gave it to me thinking it was really special and he knew I like collecting dolls. I put the doll with the rest of my collection up on a white wooden table.

Late at night I started to hear quiet giggles coming from around the cupboard. I just thought it was my imagination so I just hid my head under my blanket and went back to sleep. That morning all my dolls had been knocked to the floor, all except the doll I was given from my granddad. I was getting really worried and was getting a little bit scared of the doll and the room.

That night I decided to sleep with my mum because I was really scared that the same thing might happen again, and it did. I …

The Dolls On Halloween Night

It was Halloween and I was eight and me and my older cousin were playing in my aunts room. We were waiting for her to get back from the store because she forgot to buy candy.

We started to jump on the bed then we heard this strange noise. It came from my aunts dolls that her grandma gave her. We were scared we hid under the covers, then we got up and said, “it was the dog,” but it wasn’t. Then we started to play again. My cousin needed to go the restroom.

I saw a doll turn its head to look at me. Then I screamed and my older cousin came running out of the restroom. She said “what happened?”

I was crying and she came over to me and put her arms around me. Then she had a feeling that a doll was staring at her. She jumped on the bed and turned on the TV. Then …

Little Elves Haunted Daycare And The Clown Doll

Ok when I was 10 my mother worked at a children’s daycare. This daycare was named Little Elves. And I promise that everything I am writing is true. This daycare was haunted. It was a big place. It had a huge grass field with playground equipment, a pool, three other outdoor playgrounds, a trampoline, two mobile homes on opposite ends of the grounds, a small outdoor cement slab for skating, shack classrooms, and a row of classrooms with huge windows. Now this place was very old. Oh, I almost forgot that there was a mysterious little rock pile out there too.

Now, the woman who ran the daycare had told us that it was haunted, but we figured that she was telling us this to scare us into behaving. She was not. I don’t know what took place on this land before the daycare was built or even during the building of this daycare. But I do know that …

Haunted Antique Porcelain Dolls

During my lifetime I have had several personal encounters with the paranormal, or supernatural as some people prefer to say. I shared this experience with several members of my family when I was about 12 revolved around a set of antique dolls. Although I was not the one who actually encountered the ghost I was there while it was going on.

My grandmother found a set of antique dolls somewhere and she bought them and brought them to her house. The bodies of the dolls were made of porcelain and their dresses and hats were a combination of silk and feathers.

She put the dolls into a large walk-in closet at the top of the stairs. My older sister lived with our grandparents, her bedroom was just next to the walk-in closet. Right away she started having nightmares. She also told us that she heard an old woman humming and a creaking noise like a rocking chair while she was …

Creepy Haunted Antique Porcelain Doll

Submitted by Deyhonn Christine Brown

My sister, my cousin Vanessa (7 years old also, Terri’s daughter) and I have always believed in the paranormal. We would always do little Ghost detective sort of cute little innocent things.

My cousin tells my sister and I that there is a “creepy” doll in her attic, in one of the moving boxes at the front of the stairs.  Well, one day, we decided to check out their attic. Now in this attic there were a bunch of old antique chests and a bunch of moving boxes. So we opened the box to take the doll out. Carefully, we removed the doll from its storage facility, but as we picked up the doll we had no idea for what we had seen. This doll had both of its eyes out and blood streaming from her eyes. We all looked at each other, confused and terrified all at the same time. Then this doll lets …
