I have had various encounters with the paranormal throughout my life, but recently I had something unusual happen that I don’t understand.
On a recent Sunday morning, my husband and I stopped by our local pet mega-store for something for the cat in our lives. As we were getting back into our car to leave, I noticed an older woman who was getting into the car that was facing our car. As I glanced in her direction, I was shocked to discover that where her eyes should have been, there were two pitch black holes. The holes were bigger than her actual eyes would have been, they were more like sideways ovals that extended from the top of where her eyes should have started to about the middle of her cheeks.
I thought I must be seeing things, so I looked back at her. The black holes had gotten smaller and were disappearing into her actual eyes, so at first it was her whole eyes that were black, then the colored part of her eyes and then it must have disappeared into her pupils, so that her eyes looked completely normal (they were blue, actually). She smiled at me and I at her and I got into the car and we left.
It was a bright sunshiny day in a large parking lot. The black holes looked absolutely black, not just dark (like a shadow person-type silhouette I’ve seen occasionally). The impression I was left with was that I had seen something peeking out watching me that I wasn’t supposed to see and it went back into hiding when it saw I saw it, but that doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.
Has anyone had a similar experience or have an explanation?

As you said before paranormal experiences. It might have been from that.
i have read a few stories about black eyed kids,they try and get you to let them into your home,but fear takes over and you close & lock your door.afraid what they might do to you. look it up (black eyed kids) thanks for sharing i really enjoyed reading it
thats crazy.kind of freaky.maybe i don’t know maybe a demon got to her.have you seen her since?if so how does she look to you.maybe i know lots of maybe but when you see her when she doesn’t see you take a picture and see what comes of the picture.you never know.thanks for the story and if something does happen let us know.thanks
Wow! That is pretty darned freaky. When I read the first line, it gave me the chills like a 7 year old listening to her older brother’s ‘ghost’ stories. I got a flash of what looked like the guy who was found dead in The Birds….birds pecked out his eyes.
I too have read stories of the black eyed kids, but this is definitely not in that category. I might agree that it is exactly what you said, an entity peeking out, and getting caught by you. This does make me wonder what kind of life the old woman has…if she is aware of this or not.

ive never had an experience like that but hoping to get one soon to see how it feels but also kinda scared
one time i ate some shrooms and something like that happend
If you were not on your way from the pet store to church, you should probably take it as a strong sign to be in church on Sunday morning. Just a thought.
First,good story!Second,I’ve had some experience w/ wierdness.I have not seen black eyed people before.There doesn’t seem to be alot of info on this phenomenon,but I read stories,anybody else??Jim
i once saw my friends face half faded away . . . i never told her because it would scare her we have had alot of paranormal experiences together and this would just add to her worries. It only lasted about 10 seconds but it was as clear as day, no one else noticed it and i never told anyone.
That same thing happened to me: I saw my boyfriend’s eyes appear as pitch black holes about one hour before he was murdered. It scared me and alarmed me, and I had to blink to make sure I was really seeing this correctly He was at the end of the hallway, when he put on his hat and looked directly at me. His eyes were nonexistent, just 2 pure black holes in his face, in a well-lit hallway. it sent chills down my spine. I didn’t want him to leave the house that night, especially after him looking at me like that, but he did so immediately afterward Perhaps had I followed my gut, and followed him he would still be alive, but who knows.
