This story I am about to tell you happened to me about eight years ago. I had just started working as a doorman for a night club / strip club. Before it was remodeled it was a penthouse owned by an old rich recluse back in the late seventies. It was said she was murdered where the dance floor is on the second floor. As soon as I started I had a bad feeling about this place but at first I put it down to nerves at starting a new job.
Nothing really happened for about a week and I just about forgot about the whole thing until closing time that night. We had just ushered all the patrons out feeling tired after a long night. Me and the manager sat down for a beer. After talking for about five minutes a wine glass flew off the wrack towards our table smashing on the floor. The manager looked at me and said she must be pissed about something. I said who? The old lady he said at this time. I just wanted to get out of there but not wanting to look like a coward I just laughed it off which to this day I regret.
The next few days she made it known that for some reason she did not like me there and wanted me gone. First it started with me seeing her reflection in mirrors on the stage where the girls would dance. She would just stare at me with hate in her eyes. After that night nothing happened for a few days. I thought she was done with me but I was so wrong. After a few small instances of her making herself known… the last is what made me quit and I have never stepped foot in that place since.
It was closing time and after all the patrons left the manager asked me to check the bathrooms for stragglers. First I checked the male toilets it was empty, after that I walked into the female toilets announcing who I was. I checked each stall coming to the last one I could see two feet thinking it was a girl who had drunk to much and fell asleep I knocked loudly on the door asking “miss are you ok?” After getting no reply I got worried thinking she may need medical attention. I barged the door in and what I saw will be with me ’til I die. A woman standing there right in front of me. All I remember to this day is she had no eyes and the scream she let out was ungodly. The manager found me passed out on the floor. He heard it as well… to this day both of us have trouble talking about it.

I am so sorry to know the fact that she scared you to death. That must be a mean old woman. I have never heard about a real person passed out because of the ghost. She nust be evil. Imagine she sat there waiting for you to come ……………very scary. If I were you, I must die of heart attack.
Chris…that gave me the chills. And after having had a few really terrifying encounters and having worked as a ghost hunter for 7 years, I don’t scare easy these days.
Has anyone else seen her? Did the manager stay at the club even after that?
I know how you feel. Things like that change you for life.
hey ghost in the machine…no the manager no longer works there he left about a week after i did..he told me after i left she seemed to focus on him and he just could not work there anymore ..and besides me and the manger no one has seen her.but a lot of the girls always felt they where being watched
well Chris if those girls didn;t want to be watched then they needed to find another profession. lol just joking seriously that was a scary tale. if that would of happened to me i probably would of peed myself.i also use to work at a haunted place.one time i had to go down to the basement and i heard what sounded like a tv. I literally thought to myself” who was to lazy to turn the tv off?”as i got back on the elevator it dawned on me that there were no tv’s down in that basement.It was a nursing home and back in the day it use to be a hospital for African Americans during the segregation period in the south. somewhere in the basement use to be the morgue. another coworker told me that she one time saw a man with no legs crawling down the hallway towards her down there.however i really couldn’t believe her because she was crazy lol.
Oh my…..that was intense pretty spooky good thing you no longer work there!that’s enough reason for anyone to quit.maybe if she would of been a nice ghost Chris would still be there. Thanks for Sharing this spooky story
One more thing: If y ou can add more details about what she looked like and what her facial expression is, what clothes she wore , that will be even better. In a way I understand everything just happened too fast, it is hard to think and memorize things.
By the way, do you still work there? If yes, do you still see the mean old woman?
hey Rosie..no i no longer work there i never stepped foot in there again after that night..as for what she looked like all i really remember is looking at her face and just seeing darkness where her eyes should have been… sorry i cant tell you more but its all i remember
also i would like to add when i would see here reflection in the mirrors it was always at a distance and her face was somehow distorted in my vision..as for what she was wearing it just looked like a plain white gown

Chris that was a very interesting story thanks for sharing, but maybe the ol recluse is right, maybe because you sort of laughed it off the spirit felt like you were mocking it. The same thing happened to me, i’ve always known there are spirits in my house and once one of my brother’s friends was visiting and i said it smells like strong women’s perfume, and the guy said its the ghost that lives here with u and i laughed and said there is no ghost living here!! and do i regret saying those words! the whole night i had nightmares of a woman scaring and tormenting me, i kept waking up with a feeling of being watched and i would hear noises it was just horrible, so don’t laugh it off anymore!! great story though lol….
IT WAS A JOKE…my goodness…I OF ALL PEOPLE KNOW how spirits are….I am a sensitive AND a Paranormal Investigator….Have you ever had a cleansing of the body to rid yourself of the attachment?? I REALLY would suggest you do this ASAP….Before he decides to REALLY get back at you for Laughing at him…and BTW Im a woman *wink*
so then recluse, would you say that the spirits do get mad when you make fun of them? or mock them in any way??or maybe deny the fact that there is a ghost roaming around your house?? and what is this cleansing of the body? i’ve never heard of it…?

hey anNa bites back…to answer your question yes i have had a lot of things happen after that night i dont know why but after what happened i seem to be open more to seeing spirits which i am not enjoying as the vibe i get every time is that they want to do harm i have moved around a lot these past few years but it doesnt seem to help i have come to terms that its not the places are haunted but me for some reason…

Dang that’s tripp I’d proberly turn pale and run to down a few beers and quit too after I pass out but that’s a trippy story especially at this time halloween
i think she was a woman scorned. some dude did her wrong and now she doesn’t care who you are as long as your a man. it’s either that or you had a previous life and knew her. whatever the case, you’re out of there and away from her and that place.
You experienced a demon my friend, not a human spirit, they may mimic or take a form of a human no older than 100 years old, you may notice this in most ghost stories, from pictures to facts of prior residents, etc..you where sensitive and could sense it and it knew it and played on your fears, for the most part people do get this feeling of being watched because…we are, we are being observed by these spirits more often than you think, you just cannot see them, but most people sense them, we do have brainwave activity energy that can pick up spirit energy, and vise versa if we really allow it, so be careful you don’t want to invite anything unwanted that maybe lurking around.
id suggest to quit that job- if it is what junbug 20 says than you may want to hurry before it finds out where you live and haunts you for the rest of your life.

I wonder why some ghosts are mean and negative . I wonder why some people are mean and negative. I wonder why this ghost is hanging around the old strip bar so much doesn’t she need to crossover to the other side or something, maybe she fears judgement. In the meantime she does mind playing on people’s fear. wow , no wonder these negative ghosts are known as demons to some but i think they are just really nasty people that have died and don’t want to cross over. They usually have their own set of fears. I’m just saying we all have the light inside us and we all have the power to overcome fears. I know the 4d dimension/spirt realm seeing is crazy sometimes but it also brings alot of awareness and that is a positive thing.

IM SO TERRIFIED. i work there! i always felt i was being watched! usually, i change in that bathroom, and i always feel like someone is looking at me and touching me! i will never go in there again! thanks for lettin me know bb. LOOL

But I have a question, Why is it that all those who preach the word of God on the internet have no grammar or punctuation? I have seen maybe one or two who spelled correctly but all else type like 8 year olds. I’m just saying that if the word of God meant so much to you, you wouldn’t disgrace it with terrible spelling. No, I don’t believe in God I believe in science.

hey mr. grimm! let’s start a club for those who believe in science! we have to much dna in common with apes. man has been here long before some guy invented God to control man! all i see on these sites is about everyone gettin attacked by demons and that God can stop all the evil in the world. has anyone watched the news lately. a guy from minnesota who is like 18, just killed in cold blood , two convience store clerks for money and cigarretts. w t f ! man is the most evil thing on this earth!
What does correct grammar or punctuation have to do with believing in God? Maybe some of the people writing on here don’t speak english as a first language, or maybe a little slow, or maybe they are 8 year olds. You never know. Besides, I think that you may be the type of person to complain about incorrect grammer and punctuation in any situation, or the type to throw religion in the mix even though it doesn’t have anything to do with what you are complaining about.

It is a tool with which many people are using nowadays to prove their own faith; life after death! In doing so, they are opening doors for others to believe in God as well…
1 i never said science is bad,what i was saying is if he only believes in science I WOULD LOVE TO SEE HIS FACE WHEN HE FINDS OUT THERE IS A GOD. and that it’s not all about science! 2 science has made great break throughs in life for people. but when people start trying to explain God with science that’s wrong. will that’s just how i feel.you take care.
don’t you realize, that man was here long before man ever thought up the notion of a god! i don’t see any evidence of god doing anything good or bad. it’s man who has turned bad. god didn’t have anything to do with it. check out the magazine archaeology. i’m not saying that some of the stuff in the bible didn’t happen and that jesus wasn’t real. i’m sure he was. but i’m also sure that he was human and somehow found a way to make people believe. just like a traveling medicine show. did god create dinosaurs? please man is way to complicated along with all the evidence of the pre-history of man. i say science will win this debate!!

Science and the ‘theories’ of evolution do not nor have they ever said or claimed that we came from apes. That was propaganda put out by the Catholic church to discredit the ideas and make them look foolish. What science and the theories of evolution actually say is that we had common ancestors with the apes. However, I dont believe that either. Just wanted to clear that up.
i have nothing against anyone believing in god. this is what i believe and i’m certainly not alone. my mother was a devout pentacostal and i was babtised too. i’m sure alot of the things in the bible are true. i just don’t believe in what i can’t see or hear or touch. plain and simple. i see no miracles and i see no evidence of a god. churches have become money mongers. churches can have the right to go to a soldiers funeral and say he died because god hates gays! please believe what you want, just don’t come on here telling me that i haven’t seen a ghost and that they don’t exist and it was a demon that did it! don’t force your religious views and try to change those of us who don’t believe.

fab it works both ways on the internet. personally i don’t know what to believe. to me god is another greek myth. when i was young around 5, i was pretty much pushed into going to church. that’s when i started having doubts. i don’t care for organized religion. they want your money and they want fame. like we are the only religion and everyone else is going to hell. if i want to experience god, i go fishing. out in the middle of nature. i love to see how all living things evolve. i can’t believe an invisible thing with supreme powers created me or all these living things on earth. i believe in the big bang theory. i think i am agnostic not atheist. i am a living breathing thinking animal. we can’t all believe what we all are told…………

Weird… my sis was at a club and she saw a dead girl in the mirror with a knife coming up behind her but nothing was there so they boarded up that place next month
