It's so good to know that other understand and know what it feels like to experience these things. The bible says that love is the only thing that exists on Earth as in Heaven and that love cannot die. I believe that your experiences that you have shared here are real, be they dreams or physical phenomion. I also think that Tony is right. I would love to see my Dad again, but it hasn't happend. Having said that, He was a devout Christian who firmly believed that Heaven is to live in the full knowledge and presence of God. I would never do anything to disturb his rest. I just wanted to add one last fact that probably has no relevance to my Dads visit but I think is worth mentioning. Two and a half years after losing my baby my youngest son was born on my Dads birthday. I named him in honour of my Dad. Thank you all once again for sharing your lovely experiences. All these things are very believable, and thats proof that your father was keeping an eye on you, even after death he cares about your well being. I have also heard that loved ones who have passed on can also communicate with us through our dreams, and I strongly believe that, because well my grandfather passed away when I was 12 years old, so he didnt get to see me grow up, graduate high school, get married,etc. But through all these things and difficult situations he was always there in my dreams. When my son was born, I had a dream in the hospital that He was standing up holding my son and I was there in front of him, and he said " so this is your son". I cry every time I dream about him because I always see him standing up, and when he passed away he had lost both legs to diabetes. Thank you for sharing your experience and I'm glad you're ok. Sadly, when we lose a loved one the desire to communicate with them is so great that people will grasp onto anything that remotely resembles a sign. A great many charltans (fake psychics) or fallen spirits (demons) will take advantage of this. When the truth is that it is few and far between. It is especially true that the souls of the dead do not answer to phychics through any incantations or ouija boards, those would be the fallen who impersonate those who have passed, and yes they know all that the dead have done and said so there would be no question they could not answer or form they could not manifest to in order to decieve. Thank you so very much! My father has communicated with me, he has helped me by guiding me through some very dangerous situations, esp. ones while driving. I always just knew it had to be him. When my mother's house caught on fire, she was asleep on the sofa in the den, she sleeps with her deaf ear up, so she hears nothing, she was awakened by someone shaking her shoulder. As she lives alone, I always thought it was my father waking her to save her from the burning house. When my niece was a baby she would babble to someone as though she was talking to them, my sister-in-law thought she saw a shadow of a man with a cap (Daddy always wore a cap) walking away from the baby's room. She was home alone and no cars were anywhere around, they lived in the country on a gravel road, so, anyone coming to visit, would be driving. We all decided that it was Daddy coming to see the baby. He has been gone from this dimension for twenty years now, but, I know that he comes to see us, looks in on us and watches after us still to this day. I must admit I am looking forward to the day that I get to see him, my grandparents, and all of our wonderful pets that have passed, on the other side. I think that if anything that serious was ever to be happening to one of us Daddy would show himself to us. I have never had anything that interesting or serious happen to me, plus I am only 13, but my dad died when I was 10 and I felt very guilty about it, because I hadn't seen him for a few years, and he was in much pain and missed me and my mom. I remember the night I found out, I could not stop crying. I sobbed and sobbed, and then, just like he always did when I was little, I felt my dad's big warm hand on my forehead, and immediately stopped crying and looked up at the window.
