The Ghostly Soldier
May 22, 2008
This story takes place in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia on a Halloween night when I was bout 11 years old.
Every Halloween night me and my friends usually go to the cemetery just to look around and spook some of the little kids that come by. We all were sitting there waiting and we see this guy standing there. He was looking at a grave and he kinda looked confused. Tiffany (one of my friends) suggested we go see what he was doing and if he needed help. Her sister said, no lets just leave him alone and maybe he will go away.
So we just went back to do what we was there to do. We looked back where we saw the guy and he was still there. We again argued whether if we should go over there and see if he needed help with anything. Well, after awhile of arguing we went over to where he was at. Read more of this Ghost Post
The Evil House
May 21, 2008
Please don’t be scared, and just listen. Well, I’m very young. So most adult’s I’ll tell my story to don’t believe me. It all started when I moved from Grant Park to a small town called Cissna Park. This house was HUGE and I’ve never had such a big home. So my parents, me, and my brother were VERY excited. So we move in. The first night I had my best friend Olivia stay the night. It was about 10:00ish and everyone was tired. So we all went to sleep.
I woke up to find Olivia staring at the ceiling saying it was freezing in my room. Now my room was the biggest room in the house. It had a playroom and a closet. So all of a sudden the hallway light leading up the stairs [we were upstairs of course] turns on. I get up, stumbling over my big pants, to look down the stairs. No one was there.
Shortly after that my dog Baby came running up stairs and ran into my room and was cuddling and shaking with Olivia. So Looking down the stairs I did not see anyone. I figured it was my parents, so I walked down stairs to see if they were in bed. They were. Just to make sure I called out their names several times. They were sound asleep. Scared, I walked back up the stairs to my room and layed down, my heart racing and my head hurting. Read more of this Ghost Post
My Paranormal Experiences In Wisconsin
May 20, 2008
I had one strange experience while visiting my sister in Wisconsin:
Once, my sister and I were sitting in her bedroom. She got up to go to the kitchen to get us more tea. I was sitting on her bed, and a large object that was on the other side of the room literally flew off of her dresser and smashed into the wall beside me. It didn’t even come close to hitting me, but it was startling.
I didn’t even look to see what flew into the wall, just ran out of the bedroom and told my sister what happened and she said, “I believe you. It happens every once in awhile, I can’t figure out why”. She said it’s always the same object too. An old radio from the 1950’s that she found in a thrift shop. (she eventually couldn’t take it anymore and threw the radio out). Read more of this Ghost Post
Many Paranormal Experiences Have Things In Common
May 19, 2008
A lot of stories here have things in common. I have had some of the same paranormal things happen to me as well.
Once, when I was working third shift, I arrived home at 7:00 in the morning and my husband was leaving for work. My seven year old and three year old were asleep on each end of the sofa. I went down the to the bedroom that would be in sight and hearing of my daughters and thought I would nap until they got up.
I fell asleep for awhile, then woke up with the feeling that someone else was in the house that should not be there. I thought that if I pretended to be asleep they would take what they wanted and leave. I was terrified. Read more of this Ghost Post
Sleep Paralysis And The Late Night Door Passer
May 18, 2008
I’m not one for believing in ghosts. I’m not religious at all and I find religion very provocative, however, this story seemed to prove to me a spiritual existence.
When I was 11 years old, we moved into our new house, which is an old Victorian one, with a large hall, old rooms, a large park drive etc. which is situated in Bramhall in Stockport (Manchester, England). On the first night of being there, I can remember having a dream where in my dream, I was lying down on my bed awake, and suddenly my door opened, the room turned blue, and a figure walked in, at which point I experienced sleep paralysis. This was the first time I experienced something of the sort, and I assumed it was just nerves about being in a new house.
Now, I’m a 16 year old, and I’m doing my exams to get into 6th form. Between my first night at being in the house, and about 2 weeks ago, I had experienced no type of supernaturalism. However, at around 1 o’ clock in the morning, I was still awake and on the computer in my room. Read more of this Ghost Post
